Hi.

Just received a net4801 box and have problems booting it from tftpd32
(http://tftpd32.jounin.net/).
Connected eth0 on the box with a crossover cable to a PC with Windows XP

Using "> boot F0" at the comBIOS prompt and get a timeout saying:
CLIENT MAC ADDR: 00 00 24 C4 1C B8
PXE-E51: No DHCP or proxyDHCP offers were received.
PXE-M0F: Exiting MacPhyter PXE ROM.
No Boot device available, enter monitor.

The log window in the tfptd32 says (repeated several time):
Rcvd DHCP Discover Msg for IP 0.0.0.0, Mac 00:00:24:C4:1C:B8 [19/05
19:54:54.890]
DHCP: proposed address 172.16.90.201 [19/05 19:54:54.890]

When connecting the XP box to another PC with a pxe nic tfpd32d works
fine and the PC gets an ip.
Anyone have any experience in booting a net4801 from Windows with tftpd32?

Regards

I'm sure I remember a posting where someone said you also need to supply
a boot filename as well as just an IP address, as well as a 'next
server' so it knows which host to talk TFTP to (your TFTP server may not
be the same as your DHCP server, although in this case it looks like it
is)
